About us
New Life Community Church is a non-denominational, Christ-centered, family-friendly church, reaching out to the surrounding Huntingdon Valley, PA area, and also to wherever you are! All are welcome. Our church is just a few minutes outside of Philadelphia.
the purpose of new life community church:
To proclaim consistently the message of the Bible, to please God, to do His will, and to be instruments to His service and glory; to maintain a Christian fellowship which will lead to the maturing of the Christian personality in accord with the New Testament; and to evangelize in the local community and in all the world in accordance with Acts 1:8.
what we believe:
-
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
-
We believe in the divine inspiration and authority of the Bible. We believe that the writing of the Bible was miraculously guided by the Holy Spirit, such that the scriptures constitute the complete Word of God, the only infallible rule of faith and practice, containing all things necessary to salvation.
-
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and is fully God and fully Man.
-
We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death which is separation from God. We believe that therefore all human beings are born with a sinful nature, and those who reach moral responsibility become personally accountable to receive Christ for their salvation.
-
We believe that Jesus Christ lived the only perfect life, died for our sins, rose again and ascended to heaven, where He lives making intercession for us; and that He will one day return.
-
We believe that all who receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God, and are empowered to live a Godly life.
Sunday services - what are they like?
Our Sunday service starts off with a time of music. Our Music Director, Adeniyi Samuel, leads expressions of praise and worship to God with various other vocalists through both traditional hymns and contemporary songs. Our Sunday messages are biblically based and will encourage and challenge you in your daily life. Each month we also have our 'New Life Cafe' where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or treat after the service, along with fellowship.
sunday services - what should i wear?
We have a casual worship environment, feel free to wear regular casual clothes or dress up if you would like. No matter what you wear we just want you to feel comfortable worshiping with us.
Jim Miles
Jim Miles is the church's youth pastor, hosting youth ages 12-18 every Thursday night for Youth Group.

Hear from Jim:
"I believe it is important to teach children right from wrong, but it’s just as important that we teach them why something is right and why something is wrong. Teaching children why helps them to become better thinkers. Our children will not learn the most important things in life apart from God’s Word. At a Christian school, not only are we allowed to teach them God’s Word but God also instructs us to.
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge” (Proverbs 1:7a).

Hear from Pastor Bill:
"Here at New Life, we always have and always will preach the Gospel and proclaim the name of Jesus Christ and His love for us. On behalf of our entire congregation, we welcome and invite you to join us on Sundays for our church services. Our prayer is that you will ultimately find a church home that you and your family are not only comfortable with, but more importantly that it's the best place possible for you and your loved ones to grow spiritually in the Lord."
